Amelia’s Fairy Party!!!

fairy welcome

When I started planning Amelia’s 4th birthday party months ago, I scoured the internet looking for ideas, games, menus, decorations, etc. I found lots of things I wanted to do and got started making some things (like the fairies) way in advance. As the party got closer though, I found myself spending many hours drooling over party blogs. I didn’t even know there was such a thing! I stumbled over one of them completely by accident, not even during the many hours of searching for party ideas! (How annoying!) Anyway, those blogs make me feel completely inadequate, they are just gorgeous to look at! Some of the parties out there. . . . *sigh* I want to go to parties like that!

Here are just a few of the party blogs that I found. Check them out, they will rock your world!

 Birthday Girl

Catch My Party

Celebrations at Home

Divine Party Concepts

Fete Fanatic

Hip Hip Hooray

Sara’s Party Perfect

I’m sure there are many, many more out there, but like I said, I just recently stumbled over these and I had to draw the line somewhere! I’m going to be on the look out for more now that this party is over!

Anyway, back to Amelia’s party. When I was little, I always wanted a party like this, one where you dress up and go somewhere super special. The kids have been talking about Reese’s party since March, and I know they really appreciate the extra effort. Somewhere along the line I think I might have gone a little overboard, but everyone had a such great time, it was totally worth it!!!

Oh, I decided to break the party up into several posts instead of just bombarding my unsuspecting readers with 10,000 pictures!
